About QC

It all started from break dancing in Ghana, West Africa, early 90s and forming a rap group in high school.
He Returned to USA @ age 16, to study business in NYU,  but  pursued his passion instead.

Met Frank his first music mentor in 1993, who was working with established artist, he took him to the studio for the first time,and they did a record together, that’ s when it all started. Frank introduced him to Wes who was working with Next , black street.  Was introduced to met Teddy Riley ( super producer) and studied under him.

His production sound comes from his African background, hence Rich in percussion and drums,why he was named Qcfunk.

His production list gones on, some know artist are Lil Kim, G unit, Eve, Ruff Ryders, Juelz Santana, Dipset, Buck shot, Jay-Z,(American gangster remix), Memphis Bleek -Rocafella, Nappy roots, Lupe fiasco.  He as Also did some work in Japan, with Groove guru records /grapluz and also in China/Taiwan with AP.  Known artists in Ghana, such as Reggie Rock stone.

Besides music Qc is also involved in producing jingles for TV commercials, such as a Tide featuring Serena Williams
